Night Shift Warehouse Lead

JOB SUMMARY: The Shipping Lead is responsible for supervising the daily activities of the warehouse to include labor scheduling, receipts, shipments, and proper utilization of space and equipment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:        

• Coordinates, and assists the loading, unloading, orderly placement, and staging of product. 
• Ensures paperwork is accurate and performs second counts. 
• Ensures that customer orders are picked and shipped in a timely fashion.  Maintains an effective operation that minimizes cost and ensures optimal space utilization. 
• Assures the integrity of the inventory and assists in physical counts. 
• Monitors the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property to include cleanliness, working conditions, and repairs. 

• Performs other duties as needed by management. 
• Ensures inbound loads are received and closed in WMS 
• Communicates any variances or damages to Manager and relevant parties 
• Updates yard log as needed 
• Acts as 2nd in command in absence of Manager 
• Assists Management in closing and locking building at EOS 

QUALIFICATIONS:             

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 
• Must have a minimum of two
